Hi! I am Yasia. I am 30 years old. I graduated from Kyiv National Linguistic University and obtained Master’s degree in Translation Studies. I got qualification of Chinese and English interpretation in 2014. Since that time, I have been working at the university as a Chinese lecturer.

I passed two trainings and got more experience in written translation. I translated a lot of official correspondence and thought that it was very boring therefore I chose the job of teacher because you work with people and it’s always alive communication and fun. Moreover, I thought that every person should be useful for society and I feel that I make contribution working as a teacher. Every day you learn something new and develop your thinking and memory, which is very important for this work. Students should change their way of thinking about studies. To get more knowledge and success in learning they should put great efforts and do as much as possible. In our global world communication is a key in successful learning of foreign languages, especially English that is international. Due to this work, I improved my communication and teaching skills. What concerns my hobbies… I like watching documentaries, historical films, My favourite TV channel is National Geographic, Discovery and Travel Channel. Also, I like reading scientific articles about medicine and new methods of treatment.
